We are seeking an experienced and motivated Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful completion of our solar energy projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating various project activities, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in accordance with quality standards.
Essential Job Function & Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Strategy:
- Develop project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate project viability and identify potential risks and challenges.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
- Project Execution and Monitoring:
- Coordinate and supervise project activities, ensuring adherence to project plans and timelines.
- Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions as necessary to keep projects on track.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure timely and quality delivery of project milestones.
- Stakeholder Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies, ensuring effective communication and addressing any concerns or issues that arise.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, provide status updates, and ensure effective collaboration among team members.
- Manage stakeholder expectations and ensure client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field. Advanced degree or certification in project management is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the renewable energy or construction industry, with a focus on solar energy projects.
- Strong project management skills, including project planning, resource management, and risk assessment.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software, as well as MS Office Suite.
- Familiarity with relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards in the renewable energy sector.
